Ballyclough Food Rescue

4th April, 2017 from 7 – 9pm

Ballyclough Community Hall

Everyone is welcome to this different kind of event!  Chefs from our local gem Longueville House will be providing a 1-Pot meal made from food that would have been thrown away or rejected by local supermarkets, businesses or restaurants, served up by members of the Ballyclough Parents community.  Donal O’Leary from Stop Food Waste will be giving a brief talk on composting.

Shortly after the meal is served, there will be a viewing of the documentary ‘Just Eat It’ in the side room, a film about a couple who survive on nothing but discarded food for 6 months.  Stay chatting in the main hall over the meal, or relax in front of this entertaining & educational film in the side hall.

Tickets €8: Proceeds going towards the Ballyclough NS Sensory Room
